Mike was a wonderful addition to our family. We loved his sense of humor and positive attitude. He was a delight to be around. Even in the midst of great physical pain, his concern was for others, not himself. We especially appreciated his love and care for our daughter.
He has a special place in our hearts and we miss him.
Mike was not the first or last Economic Developer that I ever worked with, but he certainly holds the distinction of being the most genuine, personable and determined professional ED that I have had the pleasure to know. He had a disarming personality and made people feel at ease, usually with a funny line or just his smile. He was the best kind of “old school”, and I know he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Mike was the kindest man I’ve ever met. He was the one who laughed at my jokes and even thought most of them were funny. His happy smile filled my life. I’m so grateful God let us find each other and gave us nearly twenty years as best friends.
